Glass Does Not Bend
An ice cream tub was being used to freeze large quantities of ice for a party on board. A steward tried to put the whole lump in a glass water jug which would not fit, so attempted to force it to fit. The jug broke and the steward suffered severe tendon lacerations to his hand.
